Best Buy will be led by 26-year company veteran Jason Bonfig when CEO Corrie Barry steps down on Oct. 31, 2026 after seven years in the top job. Bonfig, currently Best Buy’s Chief Customer, Product and Fulfillment Officer, will be just the sixth CEO in the retailer’s history, and his appointment follows an extensive search process undertaken by the company’s board.
